Annual Events

Each year at SLIS we have several all-school annual events.

Open House

A time to get to know each other, the teachers, other parents etc.

International Day

Different countries represented at SLIS prepare some games or a short performance which expresses their individual culture, we also have different foods from each country.

Christmas Program

This is a time for the students to show their singing, acting and musical abilities in celebration of the Birth of Jesus.

Art Show

The show includes a collection student art work from through out the year, as well as other fine art performances.

Elementary School

Several field trips that are related to subjects of study are arranged through out the year.

Middle - High School

Fall Camp

This is a several day event providing an opportunity to get to know each other more and have some serious FUN!

Chess Competition

Every year we have a group of students compete in an inter-school chess competition in another city.

Volleyball Tournament

A team of students travels to another city to get to see some more of China as well as compete in a volleyball tournament.

After School Activities

After school activities include volleyball in the fall and basketball in the winter and spring. Basketball is open for everybody to come and have fun. Volleyball is a structured practice time in preparation for our annual tournament.
